GCL Charge's integrated solution of ‘light storage and super charging’ provides more efficient and low-priced green power for the stations by installing GCL's self-developed photovoltaic and titanium dioxide modules on rooftops, carports and other locations. The solution also adopts a DC-coupling design to connect the photovoltaic storage system with the charging system, thus improving the conversion efficiency of energy.
The stations are equipped with GCL's self-developed industrial and commercial energy storage products, which, relying on the advantages of lithium-ion industry chain development, have strong advantages in green power consumption and power peak and frequency regulation, and provide technical support for the charging stations to efficiently utilise green power.

GCL Charge has initially formed an industrial chain layout from products to field station construction and intelligent operation. In Suzhou Science and Technology City, we will build the largest research and production base for charging piles in the Yangtze River Delta, and a ‘super factory’ with automotive-grade production lines, which will realise a super speed of 60 seconds/unit with the advantages of flexibility, precision and high efficiency. In the future, it will also build a comprehensive experimental centre to serve the whole life cycle research and development of the whole series of GCL Charging products, with eight laboratories integrating testing, evaluation and research to support the research and development of the whole field of charging piles.
At present, GCL Charge has invested in the construction of charging stations with integrated light storage and supercharging in key cities in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, such as Suzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen and many other cities, focusing on core scenarios such as business districts, high speeds, transport hubs and communities, and meeting the diversified energy replenishment needs of users through high-quality products and supporting services. The first demonstration station in Suzhou, 500 metres from Suzhou North Station, has a 950 square metre photovoltaic carport with Lotus modules, which is expected to generate 200,000 kWh of electricity per year, providing 15% of the green power for the station.
In the future, it will also provide users with high-quality services and lead the industry's high-quality development by accelerating the promotion and application of the integrated photovoltaic storage and charging mode and new charging products.
